Welcome to NanoTR-20

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure to invite you to join us at the 20th International Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Conference (NanoTR-20), which will take place at the İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH), İzmir, Türkiye, on August 26–28, 2026.

Over the past two decades, the NanoTR conference series has grown into one of the leading gatherings in the field of nanoscience & nanotechnology, uniting scientists, early career researchers, students, and industry professionals who are shaping the future of nanotechnology. From its beginnings in 2004 as a national initiative, NanoTR has become global platform where innovation, collaboration, and scientific excellence intersect.

A New Milestone for NanoTR
Following our recent focus on academia–industry cooperation (2024) and defense industry-oriented nanotechnology applications (2025), this year NanoTR-20 expands its horizons even further.
The 2026 edition will feature multiple specialized symposia and workshops in emerging and fast-evolving fields such as: Electron microscopy, quantum technologies, innovative materials, and more…
These side events will offer deeper, hands-on engagement and foster collaboration across the expanding NanoTR community.

Beyond Science — An Immersive Experience
At NanoTR, we believe true connections often form beyond the lecture halls. This year, we’re embracing İzmir’s vibrant summer spirit with an open-air Rock Live Performance Evening on the IZTECH campus, where participants can unwind, network, and celebrate the shared passion for discovery that empower our community.

With over 800 participants expected, NanoTR-20 will be more than a conference — it will be a collective experience, where science, innovation, and human connection come together in an inspiring Aegean atmosphere.

We look forward to welcoming you once again to İzmir—where the beauty of the Aegean meets the brilliance of scientific minds—for what promises to be an unforgettable 20th anniversary edition of the NanoTR series.

With warm regards,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee
